"I have the pleasure to acknowledge your Excellency's constant letter of 28th May last, in which you acquaint me with the Instructions received from Your Britannic Majesty's Secretary of State to obtain information relative to the different kinds of timber suitable for Ship-building, procurable from the Hills of these Islands.
In order that your Excellency may carry out those Instructions, I have the honour to enclose a List which has been transmitted to me from the Naval department of this Station specifying the price at which
